Upon entry to this apartment, you are immediately drawn to the Central Park view, as seen through the windows of the study beyond. The original layout of this 1950s-building apartment was typical of the period, but has been reconfigured to create an open space. Full-height figured maple wood paneling and doors conceal all of the closets and rooms. The large living/dining room, with many north and east windows, is a light airy space. It is furnished with a blend of contemporary art and antiques collected by the client during numerous travels abroad. The Sultanabad living room rug adds colors to an otherwise neutral space and is a favorite hangout spot for the dog.
